[Photo: PSCU]President Uhuru Kenyatta took his Jubilee Party campaigns to Nyeri county, Thursday, an area perceived to be his political stronghold. He was however forced to measure his words, after he asked residents to vote for all Jubilee candidates in the August 8 polls. The crowd he was addressing jeered and booed him, when he started talking about them electing all the candidates who secured Jubilee Party tickets during party primaries."It's okay. It's okay. I've heard you. It seems that is a problem with you. I've stopped it," Uhuru said in his mother tongue, after supporters heckled him, forcing him to calm them down. "But please give me leaders who I will be able to work with them," he added, as he changed the conversation."What I'm saying is please give us a second term so that we can continue serving you. We will continue with our development record for you and every Kenyan," poised the Jubilee Party leader.

The residents were disappointed in him, over the matter, since some had issued an earlier warning against him campaigning for other Jubilee candidates in the county.

They said they had the democratic right to elect whoever they want, as long as they vote for Uhuru as president.
