President Uhuru Kenyatta has extended an olive hand to Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire adding that he is ready to work with him.

The popular ODM national treasurer has been at logger heads with Jubilee administration and has clashed with Kenyatta in previous nasty encounters.

And during his Wednesday’s tour to the region, Kenyatta termed Bosire a ‘friend’ in a wrong camp and urged him to join Jubilee.

“I know Bosire has been attacking me all the time but he is not my enemy. It is only that we are not in the same camp,” Uhuru told Nyamira residents.

“He is a smart leader whom I always wish to work with. Hopefully he will change tune and join the winning camp.”

Coincidentally, while Uhuru was talking about Bosire’s influence, opposition leader Raila Odinga launched his campaign Secretariat in which Bosire was tasked to be in charge of Gusii region.

Both Jubilee and opposition NASA are keen to jostle for over 800, 000 votes from the region which predominantly voted for Odinga in 2013.
