President Uhuru Kenyatta has called on kenyans to remain calm and mourn the death of Interior CS Joseph Nkaissery.

In his condolence speech, President Uhuru extended his sympathy to the deceased family.

 “I wish to extend my condolences to the late Nkaissery’s family, his wife, the Maa community and Kenyans in general,” the president said in his televised speech on Saturday morning.

The president revealed his last moments with the late Nkaissery.

He said  he held a meeting with the Cabinet Secretary on Friday night at 9pm and discussed wide-ranging issues on national security as well as security plans for the upcoming the IAAF World U-18 Championships which will be held in Nairobi next week.
