President Uhuru Kenyatta has called for the increase of Amison troops in Somalia.
According to Uhuru, the increase will hasten the process of stabilizing the war-torn country.
He added that the move will also be beneficial to helping resettlement of refugees returning to the country from Dadaab camp.
The President who is attending the London conference on Somalia said despite the significant progress in degrading the activities of the Al Shabaab terrorist group there was still much to do before the AMISOM troops could be withdrawn from Somalia.
He was speaking on Friday in London during the ongoing special conference on Somalia.
On Thursday, Uhuru reiterated that Kenyan troops will not be pulled out of the country anytime soon.
