Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga maintains that President Uhuru Kenyatta cannot beat him in a free and fair election.
Odinga further told Uhuru to start preparing for smooth exit from office in 2017, saying that he was sure of a resounding victory.
In 2013, Odinga lost narrowly to President Kenyatta and petitioned the outcome in Supreme Court, a case which would later be dismissed.
“I am sure that he (Uhuru) cannot beat me in a free and fair contest and he knows that. He is leading a weak government which will collapse next year and that is an assurance,” he told a huge gathering at Luanda.
“He should start packing from state house because Kenyans are tired with his leadership. We want a smooth transition in 2017 when Kenyans will be taking their country back from hell,” he added.
Odinga was on a charm offensive in the Western region, barely a day after President Kenyatta took his campaigns to the area.
