Presidnet Uhuru Kenyatta was the reason behind the collapse of Pan Paper Mills, oppostion leader Raila Odinga has said.
Odinga accused Uhuru of rejecting the proposal to revive the factory when he served as Finance minister in the government.
He further accused the Jubilee administration of selling the Pan Paper mill at a throw away price to Rai Group of companies to benefit from the transaction, alleging that the company was worth Sh10bn.
Odinga was speaking in Kakamega during the ODM delegates selected from Western region on Friday.
The conference brought together delegates from Kakamega, Busia, Bungoma, Vihiga and Trans Nzoia counties.
This comes after the President Uhuru Kenyatta who was in Kibabii`s first graduation in Western region said Raila failed to revive Pan Paper during his tenure as Prime Minister, yet he was criticizing Jubilee's efforts to revamp it.
Raila However said Jubilee is desperate and is trying to tarnish his name by claiming he is benefiting from county government funds.
