(Photo/nation.co.ke)Former Mwingi Central MP Joe Mutambu has cautioned president Uhuru Kenyatta against falling to NASA's push for electoral reforms dialogue.Mutambu who dumped Wiper party and joined Jubilee before losing re-election bid in last year's polls, claims that NASA is not genuine in its electoral reforms agenda.Speaking to journalists in Mwingi Town on Saturday, Mutambu alleged that Raila and his team are using the reforms call to have a share of Jubilee government. He claimed that NASA's plan to swear in Raila Odinga as the people's president is the opposition plan to frustrate the government if the dialogue agenda fails."President Kenyatta should be wise enough and read between the lines in NASA's push for reforms because the opposition has a hidden agenda which is to frustrate the government," he said.Mutambu alleged that NASA wants to create a chaotic environment once Raila is sworn in and push for coalition government. The former Kalonzo Musyoka ally asked president Kenyatta not to be friendly to NASA and use his legal weapons to curtail the opposition." It is going to be distarous in terms of the country's stability if the Jubilee government continues to entertain NASA' s illegal political tactics," he added.Mutambu appealed to Kenyans to ignore Raila's swearing in and partner with the Jubilee government on development.NASA has insisted on swearing in Raila and Kalonzo as the people's president and deputy respectively on January 30.The government on the other hand has maintained that the planned swearing in is illegal and highly treasonous. On Thursday, government spokesperson Erick Kiraithe warned that those planning the swearing in will be treated as criminals , arrested and prosecuted in court.Raila and Kalonzo have however dismissed the government threat saying that they are not afraid of death.
