President Uhuru Kenyatta has emphasised that there is no enemity between him and the Opposition leader, Raila Odinga.

The two have been in political battle, failing to agree on how best the country should be driven.

Raila claims Uhuru has sabotaged the country's economy, while the president maintains his administration has delivered its 2013 pre-election pledges.

Raila, a former prime minister, seeks to unseat Uhuru, in the August 8 polls.

However, Uhuru said there was no any kind of 'bad blood' between him and Raila, or any other politician.

He said the two were best of friends, but only differ politically. According to him, he sees things differently from Raila, politically, hence the differences.

"I have no problem with my brother Raila or any other politician on that matter. We are friends, but we only differ politically. I love unity and togetherness and nothing can make me hate my brother,'' Uhuru said in an exclusive interview with Citizen Nipashe, at State House, Monday.

He noted his administration had delivered to the electorates, and was optimistic of a re-election, to complete two terms.
