Twin blasts hit Zaventem airport on Tuesday, with 11 people reported killed.
Another explosion struck Maelbeek metro station near European Union headquarters an hour later, leaving about 20 people dead.
“Kenya mourns with the people and government of Belgium following the heinous terrorist attacks today."
"We also stand in solidarity with the European Union, noting that its major institutions are hosted in Brussels,” he said.
Uhuru said the incident was an attack on democracy, the open society and the values that Kenya holds dear.
