ODM leader Raila Odinga was on Wednesday attacked by Jubilee leadership for his 'bad brand of politics'. And at the heart of firing the salvos was President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Speaking on Wednesday when he wound up his two-day long tour of Kisii and Nyamira counties, the President accused the ODM leader and his brand of politics which he says has made Kenya lose 25 years of development.

"We need to catch up and fill the 25-year gap this country has lost due to negative politics," Uhuru said when he spoke during a leaders' meeting at Nyanturo grounds in Kisii County.

Defending his development record which has always been subjected into scrutiny, Kenyatta said that the opposition is in state of denial over Jubilee development record because they are used to doing nothing for the people.

"They are part of the lost years when politics and government yielded nothing for the people," he added

The President who marshaled his troops to encroach the perceived opposition stronghold outlined the various projects that his government has for the county even as he asked the residents to support his reelection bid.
