President Uhuru Kenyatta has dared National Super Alliance (NASA) Presidential candidate, Raila Amolo Odinga to boycott the fresh election.

Speaking during his tour at the Coastal region, Uhuru said that Raila, who is taking a fourth stab at the nation’s top seat, is free to stay away from the rerun following the nullification of his win.

The head of State also said that   Raila has held the nation hostage, adding that he wants to rise to power through unconstitutional means.

“He (Mr Odinga) is free to withdraw from the race if he is not interested. Kenyans must be allowed to move forward,” President Kenyatta said, as quoted by the nation.  On his part, Deputy President William Ruto said that Jubilee will carry the day during the fresh election, adding that there is no room for a coalition government.

“Power sharing government is unconstitutional. What we know is for Kenyans to decide through the ballot,” Mr Ruto said.

The President and his Deputy received a major boost in their campaign to counter the influence in the region after Former Senator Omar Hassan officially crossed over to Jubilee.

The senator said that he made an informed decision to cross over to Jubilee, adding that Raila stands no chance to ascend to power.
