NASA has accused President Uhuru Kenyatta of allegedly declaring unofficial state of emergency in two counties amid police brutality in opposition strongholds.
Reports indicate that at least five people were shot dead at separate events across the country as protests escalated over the controversial Thursday polls.
"We cannot allow the ongoing police brutality targeting Luo community across the country yet people kept away from polling centers," said Musalia Mudavadi.
With uncertainty engulfing the country, NASA says most Kenyans boycotted Thursday polls, an indication that Uhuru lost during the August elections.
And in reference to scheduled elections in former Nyanza province on Saturday, Musalia accused the government of planning a massacre of people by forcing them to participate adding that state of emergency had been declared in Migori and Bungoma.
"They have gone ahead to declare unofficial state of emergency in Migori and Bungoma. The government now wants to kill more people tomorrow," he added.
IEBC insists elections should be done in four Nyanzan counties where locals gave a wide berth the Thursday's exercise.
In the poll which opposition leader Raila Odinga had withdrawn, Uhuru seems to be heading for a landslide victory in a widely boycotted election.
