President Uhuru Kenyatta has issued what could be one of his major declarations in the quest to fight the terrorist group Al-Shabab.
While speaking on Monday in Kizingitini, Lamu county the Head of State ordered that any Al-Shabab militant found should be killed and buried.
“When we get them, we will not jail but bury them,” said Uhuru.
The president who seemed angry from his facials and tone was speaking days after Public Works Principal Secretary Mariam El Maawy was abducted, shot and injured by the militia.
"Let me assure residents of Mpeketoni and Lamu that the government is prepared to face the terrorists," he added
