The President this week laid the foundation stone for Koitalel Samoei University College in Nandi County.
This is despite Matiang’i’s order that no more universities should be established to ensure the quality of education in higher institutions of learning is not watered down.

Members of the Council for University Education (CUE) also skipped the foundation laying ceremony.
The university will stand on the land where Koitalel Arap Samoei, the supreme chief of the Nandi community, was tricked and killed by the British.

Two months ago, Uhuru’s campaign team was accused of using school children in their campaign rally, contrary to CS Matiang’I’s directive.
