A governor allied to NASA has said that Jubilee’s president Uhuru Kenyatta did not win elections in August 8 poll.
Kitui governor Charity Ngilu speaking on Saturday at Nthongoni area said Uhuru’s presidency is illegitimate and should vacate office to pave way for Raila Odinga who won.
According to Ngilu, Uhuru lost to Odinga and on December 12, Raila will be sworn into office as the president.
“Uhuru should go home since he lost to allow Raila assume office because he won the elections,” she said.
She added that it is not illegal as claimed by Jubilee leaders that it will be unconstitutional if Raila will be sworn into office.
Ngilu said the country is headed in a wrong direction because the person who took oath of office as the president is not the one who won the elections.
“We can’t have peace in a country where there is no food, high levels of poverty, lack of proper education to our children, lack of water while mighty people are eating and living well,” she said.
She said Raila is capable of leading the country.
