President Uhuru Kenyatta has donated two brand new buses to Joy Town School For The Physically Challenged in Thika.
Kenyatta promised to donate the buses when he paid a surprise visit to the institution over the Easter holiday.
The buses were delivered to the school by the area MP Alice Ng'ang'a.
The school’s principal Leah Kamunye said: "The Joy Town fraternity is very glad and grateful to our President for his Easter gifts and support he has given so far."
Also during the visit the President pledged to look into the issue of exams so it can be presented to disabled students in soft copies so that they can use computers and level competition.
The school was established in 1980 with a population of 30 students has expanded and currently hosts a population of 250 students. :
