A close study of President Uhuru Kenyatta's cabinet shows that he may have omitted Baringo Senator Gideon Moi allies.

Understandably, Uhuru signed MoU with KANU, it which independence party was to be rewarded with various government appointments after elections.

Apparently, Moi's fierce competitor in August elections,Simon Chelugui, was nominated to the water and irrigation docket.

When Uhuru appointed his first batch of cabinet, sources indicated that DP William Ruto was unhappy with Uhuru's close relationship with Moi.

Some of Moi's allies who missed out cabinet slots include Isaac Ruto, Nick Salat and Kiprono Kittoney, both who had prominently featured in KANU campaigns.

Already, Uhuru has exhausted his nominees, a move that could further spark resistance from KANU party.

In parliament, Gideon was elected chairman ICT despite speculations that he could resign for a cabinet appointment.
