Two days to the much awaited ICC thanksgiving prayer rally at Afraha stadium in Nakuru, President Uhuru has come out to explain why they chose Afraha for the rally.
“Nakuru is a cosmopolitan county where all Kenyans irrespective of their ethnic, religious or political persuasion live. It is an ideal place for us to gather and pray,” said President Kenyatta.
The president was speaking in Gatundu, kiambu County where he commissioned a number of government projects.
Uhuru urged kiambu residents to turn up in large numbers at Afraha stadium on saturday. He was accompanied by his deputy William Ruto among other top government officials.
