A Member of Parliament allied to the opposition has hit out at President Uhuru Kenyatta over what he termed as double standards.
According to Mwingi Central MP Gideon Mulyungi , president Uhuru is displaying double standrds over his stand on the Supreme Court ruling.
Mulyunga said that it was double standards for President Uhuru to say he respects the nullification but later attack Supreme Court judges.
“One wonders if this is the same Uhuru who was very comfortable with the ruling of the court after the disputed elections in 2013,” Mulyungi said.
He made the remarks when addressing residents in his office on Tuesday.
President Uhuru Kenyatta has come under sharp rebuke for attacking the Supreme Court judges.
Uhuru’s win was nullified following a petition filed by NASA.
