Nyamira County becomes the latest NASA controlled zone to plot passing of People's Assembly Bill.

Amid pressure from opposition supporters, Governor John Nyagarama and County Assembly leadership convened a crisis meeting on Wednesday morning.

With criticism over his allged dalliance with Jubilee, Nyagarama said: "We are on with People's Assembly and I am sure we shall catch up with other counties."

And Deputy Governor Amos Nyaribo accused Jubilee administration for allegedly frustrating dialogue with NASA, insisting that the electoral justice course shall be attained.

"Uhuru Kenyatta has abused our right to dialogue. We shall not just pass the motion of no confidence but also ensure justice prevails," he told reporters.

Despite assurances by Majority Leader Duke Masira, the fate of the motion has remained unknown, leading to scathing attacks by NASA supporters on County leadership.

Masira, who was present said: "We are ready and united to move on with the motion."

Should the motion pass before Sunday's NASA rally in Gusii stadium, Nyamira would be the 17th county to delegitimise Uhuru Kenyatta's presidency.
