Already, IEBC has set October 26th as the prime repeat date for presidential elections, twisting the earlier October 17th decision, it what they called ‘impact of Supreme Court ruling’.

At State House on Thursday, a tough talking president maintained that elections must be held within the constitutional timelines failure to which, he won’t take blame.

“We have given IEBC time to ensure an election is carried out within the stipulated time. As Jubilee, we have started our campaigns and nothing shall stop us,” he said.

Uhuru, who was hosting people from marginalized communities added:”I will not be cowed and they should know that I will continue serving the people if they are not ready.”

Constitutionally, IEBC has until November 1st to hold elections following nullification of Uhuru’s victory by the Supreme Court.

Contrary to his views though, the opposition team insists that it will not participate in an election until fundamental changes are executed within the commission.
