Barely a week to his swearing-in President Uhuru Kenyatta has received more support for his second term in office.
Kenya's second president Daniel Moi has expressed his confidence that Uhuru will ensure Kenya remains united and prospers.
Moi is remembered as the man who introduced Kenyatta in Kenyan politics in 2002 when he fingered him as the man who will take over the reigns of leadership under Kanu after his 24-year rule.
Uhuru has quite a task in ensuring that he unites the country after a prolonged political battle that has since divided sections of the republic with some Kenyans feeling allienated from government devlopment projects and positions.
Opposition coalition NASA has maintained that they do not recognise President Uhuru Kenyatta and have threatened to organise a parallel swearing-in ceremony where they will swear-in their leader Raila Odinga.
