President Uhuru Kenyatta has been warned against interfering with leadership in Nyamira and Kisii counties.
According to Nyamira NASA leaders, Uhuru has no powers to dictate leadership of the two counties.
This is after Uhuru said he would ensure that Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama loses an election petition filed by Jubilee’s Walter Nyambati.
The Head of State added that he will do the same for Kisii Governor James Ongwae.
Addressing the press at the ODM Nyamira office, the leaders said Uhuru has no powers to interfere with the county’s elected leaders.
They were led by ODM acting chairperson Stephen Kaka and Zipporah Osoro who is the chairperson of the Nyamira NASA campaign committee.
The leaders maintained that Nyamira is a NASA zone and promised to do anything and ensure Raila Odinga is the next President.
