President Uhuru Kenyatta has accused NASA leader Raila Odinga of stealing from Nairobians through dibious means.
Speaking at a rally held at the Uhuru Park on Saturday, the president said Raila stole Nairobi money using former governor Evans Kidero as his point man.
He said there was massive evidence suggesting a possible looting in the past regime, something he said was reflected greatly in the amount of tax collected.
The president said that Raila's operatives at the county government used to alter downwards the figure of collected tax so as to use the rest.
He explained that the Kidero administration used to record only Sh17 million as the daily collected tax figure yet Governor Mike Sonko is now recording Sh40 million.
"The difference is what our colleagues used to pocket and use for their evil deeds," he said during a Jubilee rally at Uhuru Park.
"Now they have started collecting public funds because what they used to steal is lost," he said in reference to NASA's call for public donations to fund their campaigns.
