President Uhuru Kenyatta has fulfilled his promise to one voter from Weitethie, Kiambu county by giving him Sh3 million to start a business.

The man who found favor in the eyes of the head of State is one John Macharia who caught the eye of Uhuru when he participated in the October 26 repeat polls.

Macharia who was diagnosed with multiple physical disabilities and asthma at birth could not believe his eyes after Transport Cabinet Secretary James Macharia and a local administrator visited his rented house to deliver the message from Uhuru.

"This is a dream come true. I did not believe that a young man like me with no arms could be noticed by the most powerful man in Kenya," said Macharia.

"I want to thank him and promise to utilise this money to improve my life," he added.
