Maendeleo Chap Chap (MCC) party boss Dr Alfred Mutua has lauded President Uhuru Kenyatta for his outstanding support to the youths. According to Mutua, Uhuru has empowered young people in his first term."The country has not witnessed such empowerment of the youth with setting up of polytechnics at least in every constituency-like it is the case today. This is a government with a score card," said Mutua as quoted by Tuko.The Machakos County governor said that any MCC aspirant has a duty to support President Uhuru’s re-election bid. There were 3,500 delegates in attendance and the aspirants were made to take an integrity oaths restricting them from engaging in corrupt deals.When accepting his endorsement, President Kenyatta said that the NASA principals were only interested in power sharing as opposed to solving the real issues affecting Kenyans."For a whole year they sat down not to discuss how to solve problems of 40 million Kenyans but how to give jobs to some four people," said Uhuru.He was referring to NASA leaders. They are ODM’s Raila Odinga, Wiper’s Kalonzo Musyoka, ANC’s Musalia Mudavadi, Ford Kenya’s Moses Wetangula and CCM’s Isaac Ruto. They have signed a power-sharing deal that will allow Odinga to vie as a transitional president.
