''The Star'', a mainstream media newspaper, reported today that Raila Odinga's brother, Oburu Odinga, met with Uhuru's team in a bid to resolve the political crisis in the country.
Odinga had issued a laundry list of demands that he wanted to be met and Jubilee had on its part made it's own demands, according to the newspaper story.
Raila Odinga has, however, strongly denied suggestions that he was involved in any talks with Uhuru Kenyatta aimed at resolving anything.
''I have received a call. I want to tell you that what The Star reported was pure propaganda. It said that Uhuru sent Oburu to me so that I can work with him. That is pure rubbish. There is nothing like that'' Raila Odinga said.
The Star's report had given Kenyans hope that the worsening political crisis would be resolved through dialogue.
