Nakuru Town West MP Samuel Arama says Jubilee is likely to emerge the winner in the forthcoming general election going by the voting patterns.

Arama who spoke to journalists in Nakuru, was categorical that the voting pattern in Kenyan is clear, and that Jubilee is likely to have no strong competitor in the race.

"I want to state here without fear of contradiction that the government in power will win the elections as I have studied the voting patterns and I can't see any serious Jubilee competitor in the race," said Arama who was elected on an ODM ticket.

The Nakuru West legislature added that the voter registration exercise revealed a lot about Kenyas' voting pattern, with many registering in the Jubilee strongholds.

"If you go to Central, Eastern and even here in Rift Valley, you will realise majority registered as voters as compared to Nyanza and Western areas which are Opposition strongholds," he claimed.

The MP, however, called on all political leaders to exercise democracy in political parties even as the country heads for elections in 2017.

He also appealed to all leaders to have the spirit of accepting results after a general election to avoid violence such as was experienced in 2007-08.

His sentiments come even as there is a misunderstanding in the country concerning the IEBC.
