Homa Bay county woman representative  Gladys Wanga on Monday alleged that Uhuru was convinced that he would lose to Nasa presidential contender Raila Odinga and that is why he is laying the ground for a Raila impeachment.

"It is so clear that the president has panicked and that's why he is busy planning how to impeach Raila should he be elected president", she said.

Wanga also faulted the president over his 'condescending' attitude towards opposition MP adding that he was setting a bad precedent for the country.

" The president must change his tune towards Nasa MPs.To allege that he will open Parliament with or without Nasa MPs is condescending and in bad taste.Such language is what brings about thoughts of secessions ", she said.

The president on Monday said that Raila would easily be impeached by Jubilee MPs should he win the August polls.

He also dared the opposition legislators to make good their threat of boycotting the opening ceremony for Parliament saying that Jubilee has the requisite numbers to conduct House business.

However, Wanga who was speaking to Citizen Tv vowed to give the event a wide berth.
