President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto have failed Kenya, Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu has said. According to Ngilu, the Jubilee government has nothing new to offer to Kenyans after failing to keep its pre-election pledges when it was seeking power before the 2013 general elections.
Ngilu, a former lands minister, asked the residents to shun the Jubilee government and vote for NASA Presidential candidate, Raila Amolo Odinga, who is taking a fourth Stab at the nation’s top seat. She was speaking during a burial at Zombe in Kitui East on Monday 16th October.
“Kenyans are very bitter with this regime, they’ve failed, and we should not waste time talking about a visionless leadership,” Ngilu said.
The county boss also said that the current government has taken citizens of this nation for a ride for years, adding that time has come for them to be shown the door.
“Kenyan voters have been taken for granted many years, Kenyans will always humble such leaders through the ballot,” she said.
She further urged residents to turn out in large numbers to elect Raila when that time comes.
