Addressing the public at the Gilgil NYS College ground on Tuesday,  a moment after presiding over a pass out parade for the NYS recruits, the Head of State reiterated that Kenyans are not ready to shed blood for any individual.

“I want to appeal to Kenyans that let us be peace ambassadors and shun divisive politics as we head to 2017 for a better Kenya,” said the President.

Uhuru said those who swindled NYS cash will not go unpunished.

“All those who embezzled funds meant for these youths through the NYS will be dealt with accordingly. But even as we head to 2017 general elections I would urge Kenyans to shun tribalism which is a hindrance to development,” he said.
