President Uhuru Kenyatta has launched another scathing attack on opposition team by accusing them of sabotaging government operations.
Uhuru also associated the opposition team with violence, citing the stormy National Assembly sitting on Tuesday.
He said he will not lose focus over ‘petty’ political feuds and challenged the opposition team to engage government with policies based politics.
“I cannot be intimidated by people who have no agenda at all for the country. They keep on derailing development agenda instead of engaging in mature politics,” he said
“We are becoming petty every day and you saw what they did on Tuesday. People who like insulting others with no clear agenda for this country,” he told a gathering at Kiambu County on Wednesday.
Uhuru is involving in another heavy battle with opposition after his team recommended amendments to election laws that would allow IEBC to use an alternative voting method should electronic one fail.
