While Jubilee party Vice Chair David Murathe conceded having worked closely with controversial data manufacturing company Cambridge Analystica, President Uhuru Kenyatta has dismissed the claims.

In March, an interview aired by British's Channel 4, exposed how the data firm compromised presidential results in a number of countries with Kenya being among them.

As part of smearing campaign in favour of Jubilee candidate Uhuru Kenyatta in 2017 elections, the company admitted having run 'The Real Raila' which painted the opposition leader Raila Odinga negatively.

But in an exclusive interview with CNN on Friday, Uhuru dismissed the claims as 'unfounded' adding that he only heard of the company from media publications.

"I did over 700 campaigns and in each campaign, I delivered my own speeches. Such speeches are informed by intense research by my team," said Uhuru.

"I don't the the hell about Cambridge Analystica and I do not know even where it is situated. I have only heard about in the the media," added Uhuru in an interview with Christane Amanpour.

The investigative by Channel 4, the firm admitted doing Uhuru's campaign speeches both in 2013 and 2017 victories.

Days after the expose, Raila BBC that he is contemplating taking legal actions against Facebook, which was used by the firm to spread the negative campaigns.
