After his Tuesday rally in Kisii that saw massive crowds in attendance, President Uhuru Kenyatta will now shift gears to tour other Western region counties.

The key focus, however, will be on Kakamega, the country's second-most populous county, and Bungoma where governor Ken Lusaka is beating the drum for Jubilee.

The comes immediately after his recent tour of Nyandarua, Laikipia and Nakuru counties where he unveiled key prospects of his re-election bid.

On Wednesday, the president will visit Nyamira to address residents at Ikonge, Nyamaia, Ekerenyo, Nyamira, Kimera, Rigoma, Magombo, and Nyansiongo before heading to Kakamega county in the afternoon.

He will be in Trans Nzoia on Thursday before heading to Uasin Gishu on Friday where he will start by presiding over the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) recruits passing-out parade at the Eldoret Recruits Training School (RTS) in the morning and tour Eldoret town in the afternoon.

President Kenyatta will close his visit by attending a church mass in Bungoma before beginning a meet-the-people tour of the county
