President Uhuru Kenyatta arrived in Kampala, Uganda Saturday afternoon for a diplomat’s forum where he is scheduled to deliver a keynote address Sunday night.
The plane carrying the President and his delegation touched down at Entebbe International Airport shortly after 5.00 pm and was received by senior Ugandan officials and Kenya’s High Commissioner to Uganda Geoffrey Okanga
The Forum provides an opportunity to the diplomatic community to engage with the Business community and the wider society and to appreciate their support towards the Diplomatic work during the year.
While In Entebbe, President Kenyatta held talks with the host Uganda’s President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni at Entebbe State House centering on regional security, integration, economic and bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
Kenya and Uganda enjoy fraternal relations anchored on high-level contacts and removal of hurdles that hold back trade and free movement of goods and people across the common border.
The talks were attended by Foreign Affairs Minister from the two countries.
