Senior Counsel James Orengo has fired a warning to President Uhuru Kenyatta cautioning him that his stay in State House is short-lived.
For the third consecutive time, Uhuru is yet again set to face veteran politician Raila Odinga in another battle of titans in two months time.
Having played a key role in nullification of Uhuru’s victory, Orengo maintained that Uhuru’s unpopularity will be punished by Kenyan voters in November.
“It irritates sometimes that we have to talk about someone who blatantly bungled Odinga’s victory,” he said in reference to August 8 polls.
At Mathere on Sunday, the Siaya Senator added:” He is a squatter in State House and that should be very clear with him. He never won any election.”
A team of lawyers led by Orengo challenged Uhuru’s victory at the Supreme Court on behalf of Odinga leading to a major moment of history.
And for the next two months, Kenyans will yet again experience another epic battle between Uhuru and Odinga following the nullification.
