Nairobi NASA presidential campaign manager Johnstone Muthama has hit back at Jubilee campaign team by labeling it ‘desperate’.
On Wednesday at Makueni, President Uhuru Kenyatta faced tough moments when addressing locals, who chanted anti-Jubilee slogans throughout his address.
And Muthama has now accused Uhuru of undermining Kamba community adding that he is desperate for their votes despite the hostile ground.
“We have seen him launch non existing projects and even buying Kamba leaders. That is not going to work at all although he is desperate for their votes,” he said.
“He is fond of disrespecting us but that will end next week. Kamba people cannot move from NASA and that is a tough lesson he should have learnt by now,” he added.
At Wote, Uhuru maintained that he will beat his rival Raila Odinga, even without Kamba votes, a response to youths who heckled him.
Ukambani region has a total of 1.5 million registered voters and it is the home tough of NASA presidential running mate Kalonzo Musyoka.
