Mombasa gubernatorial aspirant Suleiman Shahbal has hailed president Uhuru Kenyatta, after commissioning projects worth Sh3.2 billion in the County, Thursday.
Shahbal who accompanied the president alongside other local and government officials as he commissioned the development projects, said Mombasa was an admirable place because of the president.
He said Uhuru showed impartiality in launching the projects, adding that every region in the Country had been developed.
"I am very proud of the non-partisan approach the president adopted by developing all parts of the nation, especially Mombasa County. Mombasa County couldn’t have had a better ally than President Uhuru,'' he said.
The president commissioned the Mombasa Storm Water Drainage Improvement Project Phase 2 in Bamburi and Informal Settlement Infrastructural Improvement Project in Ziwa la Ng’ombe.
He also opened Mackinnon Meat Market.
"I commend the solidarity and unity shown by various leaders during the functions,'' added the Jubilee allied politician.
