Alai says it was out of hand for the Head of State to walk into the market without his usual high detail security warning that something bad could happen to the president.

Alai termed the president's move as a Public Relation stunt, adding that the 'Presidency is, not a Jubilee property'

"Did they have to risk the life of the President for PR? Presidential Security and State House staff should be held responsible in case the president even sneezes after this stupid stunt," he wrote on his facebook page.

"Uhuru is not the property of Jubilee. Presidency is not the property of Jubilee. Let's stop being foolish. Yes, tunakula Kwa macho but this is stupid," he added.

The president made  an impromptu visit to the market where he had his lunch in the company of Nairobi senator Mike Sonko,Women representative Rachael Shebesh and Mp Denis Waweru and Johnson Sakaja.
