NASA Chief Agent James Orengo maintains declaration of Uhuru Kenyatta as President-Elect is ‘illegal’ adding that the coalition will ‘fight using other options’.
Initially, Orengo had dismissed the only available constitutional option of going to Supreme Court to challenge the outcome of polls.
And on Saturday, Orengo urged NASA supporters to remain calm and wait for the next course of action by the opposition.
“Uhuru is not president and anyone knows that. We cannot keep on repeating that because you all know the irregularities that happened.
“We only urge our supporters to remain calm and wait for the next course of action because we have plenty of options to choose from,” he added.
Earlier, reports from the coalition indicated that over 100 people had been killed by the police following protests that erupted after IEBC declared Uhuru the winner.
In the hotly contested polls, Uhuru managed to score 8 million votes to Raila Odinga’s 6.7 million according to official tally by IEBC.
