Timothy Bosire has dismissed claims that he is against President Uhuru Kenyatta’s tour to Gusii region on Tuesday insisting that Kenyatta is at liberty to visit any corner of the country.
Eelier, a section of Gusii leader led by Walter Nyambati had dared Mr. Bosire to ‘disrupt’ the rally that would take place at Nyambaria High School in his Kitutu Masaba constituency.
On Friday, Bosire dismissed his critics terming them ‘cowards’ adding that he was also at liberty to attend Kenyatta’s rally.
“As much as I don’t buy his ideas, I am in opposition to stay and that should be respected,” he said in response to Jubilee campaign team claims.
The first term legislator added:” Kenyatta is free to tour in any part of the country. However, I want him to treat all regions equally and with dignity.”
Although Gusii region voted for opposition leader Raila Odinga predominantly in 2013, Jubilee team is keen to reap big in August, with the president expected to line up a number of development projects reportedly launched by his administration.
