He said the institutions are determined to change Kenya's government in the upcoming polls, adding that Kenya is a democratic, and independent state which decides by its own.

According to him, the monies coming in the Country to fund some non-governmental organisations, purportedly come-in to promote civic education and good governance.

"We are also going into elections next year. There is already money coming into Kenya from abroad in the guise of supporting good governance or civic education. However, its true intention is to influence our electoral choices,'' said Kenyatta.

He urged Kenyans to reject such interference, and warned that his government will not tolerate such 'donations'.

"I want to caution those members of the International Community taking these actions that the Kenyan people do not look kindly on such actions. I urge all Kenyans to reject such interference,'' Uhuru noted.

The president addressed Kenya during 53rd Jamhuri Day fete, at the Nyayo National Stadium, Nairobi, Monday.
