President Uhuru Kenyatta has described Kalonzo Musyoka as a non-performer.

Speaking during his tour of Tharaka Nithi, Uhuru said that Kalonzo did little to transform the lives of the residents.

The Head of State asked Kalonzo, also NASA deputy presidential candidate, to point out any single project he initiated during the time he served under different regimes.

Uhuru had earlier on asked Kalonzo to cross over to Jubilee to form the government as he waits for 2022 elections. The Jubilee presidential candidate said that NASA has nothing to offer to Kenyans.

“Even if he (Kalonzo) is your neighbour, let us be honest. For 35 years he has been active in politics – from Moi’s government to Kibaki’s, when he was the nation’s Vice President,” Uhuru said, as quoted by eDaily.

The Jubilee Party leader added: “Please point out any single development project that the "katikati fellow" (Musyoka) rolled out for Tharaka people. He has not even built a single toilet for you.”

Uhuru also said that the current regime has launched several projects across the nation, adding that he deserves another term in office. He cited Sh274 million stadium at Kirubia in Chuka/Igambang’ombe.
