Speaking on Friday at Matuu in Machakos county, President Kenyatta expressed concerns surrounding development and nature of politics in the country, pointing out that it was wrong for leaders to put the country in an endless state of politicking and protests at the expense of development.
In a statement from State House Nairobi, the president who was accompanied by Deputy President William Ruto inspected the Sh2.2 billion Yatta Canal being rehabilitated by the National Government and affirmed to locals the Government’s commitment to completing 59-kilometre canal reconstruction.
