Following complains from the public over lack of women in the economic team of President Uhuru Kenyatta, the latest meeting saw an improved representation.

During the fourth economic meeting held on Friday, a number of women were spotted compared to the previous one.

The third economic meeting lead to uproar on social media where Kenyans questioned weather the Head of State was keen on gender equality.

The economic meetings have been held for the past two weeks.

"Held a meeting with my economic team geared towards sustaining the country’s development momentum for the benefit of all Kenyans,” Uhuru captioned a photo from the meeting.
