Moments after appointing lawyer Miguna Miguna as his deputy, Uhuru's right hand man David Murathe vowed to have him impeached.

"It is just a matter of time that we impeach him. He is a letdown," he said.

Similar sentiments were made by Jubilee leadership in Nairobi County assembly.

But Majority Leader Abdi Guyo on Sunday led a troop of MCAs in defending Sonko, barely a week after threatening to have him impeached.

"Nobody will impeach Sonko take that to bank. He must be allowed to deal with cartels," he said.
