[Photo|PSCU]President Uhuru Kenyatta on Sunday met former long-term serving President Daniel Arap Moi.Uhuru met the veteran politician and former KANU leader at his Kabarak home in Nakuru county."Visited and had lunch with former President Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi in Kabarak, Nakuru," the Jubilee Party leader said on his social media accounts Sunday evening.Details of the visit however remain undisclosed.
Uhuru's visit come as he awaits a Supreme Court verdict challenging his second controversial re-election during the October 26 fresh presidential election.The Supreme Court led by Chief Justice David Maraga is expected to give a verdict as to whether to retain his presidency or not on Monday 20, starting 11 am.The last time Uhuru publicly visited Moi was shortly before August 8 general election, to ask supposedly Moi's son, Baringo Senator Gideon Moi and KANU leader to support his reelection bid.
