President Uhuru Kenyatta left the country for South Africa on Thursday morning for a three-day official visit.
Shortly after arriving in Durban, Uhuru met South African President Jacob Zuma.
The two leaders held bilateral talks to boost cooperation in a wide range of areas including trade, security and infrastructure development.
Addressing the press after having a closed door meeting, they both expressed their desire to strengthen relations between the two countries for the benefit of their nations and peoples.
