President Uhuru Kenyatta has unleashed fresh attack on NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga, the President accusing him of being a stumbling block in the country's development agenda.

Speaking in Nyeri County on Tuesday where he took his re-election campaigns, Uhuru attacked Raila for allegedly frustrating former President Mwai Kibaki's effort to develop the country.

"If Kibaki was allowed to work after 2007, the country would have undergone serious changes. But we wasted five years that Raila was in government. Please, on August 8, do not allow me to share power with him. He does not have an agenda for this country," the President said amid cheers from the crowd.

While defending his development record, Uhuru said that much development as been realized during his tenure in office even as he accused the opposition of thriving on propaganda to label his government as failed.
