President Uhuru Kenyatta joined Kenyans in eulogising former NTV presenter Janet Ikua.

Uhuru praised the late Janet as an outstanding journalist in the media fraternity adding that she was much respected.

“Janet was a much loved and much respected media personality whose commitment to accuracy, objectivity and non-partisan reporting made her work truly outstanding,’ the president said, Sunday.

The former presenter died April, 1, 2017 after a battle with stage-four lung cancer.

Janet is survived by her husband and two children.

Kenyans characterised the 39-year-old as brave, kind, courageous and a ‘fighter’.
